Germany’s New Immigration Plan for Indian workers
Germany, Europe’s largest economy, is currently facing a serious labor shortage across key sectors like engineering and digital solutions. To tackle this challenge, the country has introduced a revamped and liberal immigration policy, creating abundant opportunities for skilled workers from India.
Why Germany Needs Indian Workers
Germany’s labor market is struggling with a shortage of skilled professionals, especially in technical fields. As per the German Ambassador to India, Dr. Philipp Ackermann, the country is actively seeking Indian talent to fill these gaps. Indian professionals are known for their expertise in technology and engineering, making them ideal candidates to bridge this labor deficit.
Currently, 2.6 lakh Indians live in Germany, and this number is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Additionally, over 2,000 German companies operate in India, facilitating opportunities for Indian workers to move to Germany.
